Psychotherapy Services
Dr. Kaskel provides psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, that is tailored to each client’s unique needs. Her work is grounded in the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model, which guides how past experiences shape present thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Treatment is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on fostering meaningful, lasting change.

Dr. Kaskel uses an assimilative-integrated framework, allowing sessions to be flexible, individualized, and responsive to each client’s goals, strengths, and challenges.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy rooted in the AIP model. It helps individuals reprocess distressing memories, thus reducing emotional reactivity and building more adaptive beliefs. Although EMDR was initially developed for trauma, it can be effective for a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. Through structured techniques, clients learn practical tools to manage stress, regulate emotions, and improve daily functioning.
