About Dr. Kaskel
Dr. Kaskel is a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing comprehensive neuropsychological and psychological assessment services to toddlers, children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. She understands that time is valuable and the results of psychological evaluations are often relied upon in making important decisions regarding the future. As such, Dr. Kaskel prioritizes efficiency and quality when delivering reports.

In addition to her evaluation work, Dr. Kaskel provides psychotherapy for adults. Her approach is rooted in an assimilative-integrative framework and incorporates training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She integrates these evidence-based methods thoughtfully to address each client’s individual needs.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware, Dr. Kaskel went on to obtain her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate of Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University’s Washington, DC campus. She then completed a formal post-doctoral residency with Nova Southeastern University's Center for Assessment & Intervention before she entered into private practice in 2010.

Dr. Kaskel’s work includes the publication of Social Skills Training for Adolescents with Autism: Suggestions for an Age- and Setting-Appropriate Intervention Program (2009), a resource designed to guide clinicians, educators, and families in delivering developmentally appropriate interventions for adolescents on the autism spectrum. As an EMDRIA-approved EMDR clinician, she remains dedicated to ongoing professional development and to integrating trauma-informed, evidence-based practices into her work with adults.
