Behavior Intervention Plans

Behavior Intervention Plans turn information from a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) into practical, step-by-step strategies to support positive behavior change. Each plan is individualized and focuses on understanding why a behavior occurs and how to respond in more effective ways. The goal is to reduce challenging behaviors while teaching skills that better meet the individual’s needs.

Behavior Intervention Plans are helpful when behavior concerns require consistent support across settings such as home, school, or treatment programs. They provide a clear roadmap so everyone involved knows how to respond in a supportive and predictable way. Individuals of all ages may benefit when behavior challenges interfere with learning, relationships, or daily functioning.

Dr. Ilene Kaskel develops Behavior Intervention Plans that are realistic, easy to understand, and grounded in assessment findings. Her plans are designed to be practical for caregivers, educators, and providers to implement. The focus is on meaningful, lasting behavior change and the development of positive, adaptive skills.
