Psychoeducational Evaluations assess how an individual learns by examining intellectual functioning, academic skills, and underlying cognitive processes. These evaluations help identify learning disabilities and clarify patterns of strengths and weaknesses that affect academic performance. Results provide insight into how a person processes information and learns most effectively, as well as factors that may interfere with academic retention and performance.
Psychoeducational Evaluations are often recommended when a person is struggling academically, showing uneven achievement, or not responding to standard instruction or intervention. They are also commonly used to determine eligibility for academic accommodations, special education services, or standardized testing supports. Individuals of all ages may benefit from such testing when their learning concerns interfere with school, work, or daily functioning.
Dr. Kaskel has extensive experience conducting Psychoeducational Evaluations across the lifespan. She prioritizes efficiency without sacrificing depth, ensuring that results are accurate and clearly explained. Her reports provide actionable recommendations that can be readily implemented in educational and testing environments.
